Google Analytics AIR Beta

I’ve recently seen a new software application that uses the Adobe AIR platform to display your Google Analytics information. It’s called the Google Analytics AIR Beta. I decided to download the app for myself to see what it’s like for myself. Here are my thoughts…

1. Even though the Adobe AIR platform allows you to not have to visit a particular website via a browser to launch online apps, it still doesn’t compare to the real thing.

2. The design of the Google Analytics AIR Beta isn’t as great as the original and current design for Google Analytics.

Closing thoughts: Some people may enjoy not having to click on Firefox, and then manually type in the Google Analytics web address to view their analytics data. I personally don’t think it takes that much more time to manually type in the web address.
